Beth over at I Should Be Folding Laundry is hosting another You Capture for your viewing pleasure. So go check it out, like now, for realz.
These I took a while ago while we were in New York. They are dates on buildings- signs of old as well as old signs, right. I know we are supposed to take new photos, but I love these and I want to share them, so there!
The bricks are built into the buildings to show the year it was actually built.
The wooden one, I believe, is for the same reason. It was on an old ice factory on the Hudson. I think it was Roosevelt's, if I remember correctly. I'll double check.

Those are so cool. I love when buildings are dated. And how much attention went into old buildings!
