This was our fifth year of pulling together the Heart Gallery of Central Texas. I am so proud to be a small part of something so great. I love it because I believe that if we, as a community, have the right to take children away from their families, then I also believe it is our responsibility to do everything we can to help them find their forever families.
So, the gala was wonderful and had a great video played at it this year. You should check it out, it's awesome. I'm not, though, because I tried repeatedly to embed it into my blog and I'm a moron. So, you'll just have to go on over to youtube. Anyway, the portraits I took of Sara and Richard are up and so is Skyler's that my friend, Mike, took. He's new to the gallery this year and he did a great job. I knew he would. I would love it if you would check out another video on the Adoption Coalition of Texas- they are the folks that got this whole thing rolling for the Heart Gallery of Central Texas. Very cool group.
