I have met one of my milestones and so I’m finally ready to share it with the blogosphere. I have lost over 25 pounds so far. Woo hoo!
Today I went on one of my walks- I go 3 or 4 times a week these days- and I was feeling all groovy good so I decided to run/jog/plod for about half of it and walk the other half. Basically, what that means is I walk uphill and jog downhill. Ha ha. Actually, I ran some of the uphills today. So, I felt good. I am trying to change things up a bit to gain strength in my heart and legs.
Here’s what I love to listen to while running (slash plodding- I mean, I feel like I’m running, but let’s get serious, what is running? Does it REQUIRE that your feet both be off of the ground at the exact same time? Really? Oh. really? it does, huh? Uhm, awkward. Ok.) Anyway, here’s the list:
AC/DC – ‘Money Talks’
Queen –‘Fat Bottomed Girls’
Sinead O’Connor –‘No Man’s Woman’
Beastie Boys –‘Sabotage’
Ministry –‘You know what you are’
Pat Benetar –‘All Fired Up’
Dixie Chicks –‘Goodbye Earl’
John Lennon –‘Power to the People’
Aerosmith –‘Just Push Play’
ABBA –‘Take a Chance on Me’
Now, there is also one dangerous group for me to listen to: Guns N’ Roses. There is a ninety three percent increase in the likelihood of me flipping someone off when listening to any GnR song. This includes their more melodic cover of ‘Live and Let Die.’ So, watch out obnoxious drivers if you cut me off while Axl’s doing his thing! The bird might need to take flight. (I’m not saying, I’m just saying…)

I love your playlist! I'll be sure to watch out for you when your listening to G-N-R.
So you have to share what changes you've made in your life to take the weight off. I know you're walking and "running," but what else?
you need to add Steppenwolf's Magic Carpet Ride - very ploddable!!
I can't tell you how proud I am of you. Rock on, my friend!!
OMG- I love GNR!!!!! The next time we get together, let's rock out to "Welcome ot the Jungle" or possibly "Paradise City". How could I know you this long and NOT know about this love for GNR? Seriously.
BTW, I have already told you this, but I'll tell you again- You Look FAB-U-LOUS!!!!!!!!!! I guess our late nights of margaritas and chips and salsa are over, huh?
Welllllll, let's never say never... how about just not every night. I mean, not that it was every night for a while there, but you know what I mean!
